Open the company page

Find the role in the jobs table.

Click the share icon

On every job row there’s a share button.
  • On desktop, JobBeacon copies the share link to your clipboard. A small tooltip confirms it.
  • On mobile, the native share sheet opens so you can send via Messages, Mail, etc.

Send the link

The link looks like https://jobbeacon.app/share/{token}. The recipient doesn’t need an account — they can open it directly.

What the recipient sees

A clean public page with:
  • The job title, company, and location
  • A direct link to apply on the company’s career site
  • A preview image when the link is pasted into Slack, iMessage, Twitter, etc.
No JobBeacon account is required. The recipient never sees your filters, your other watched companies, or any account info.

Privacy

  • Share links are unguessable random tokens. Only people with the link can see the page.
  • You can share the same job multiple times — JobBeacon reuses the same link rather than generating a new one.
  • The shared page reflects the job at the time of viewing. If the company takes the job down, the page will say so.

Limitations

  • There’s no way to unshare a link today. If you need a link revoked, email support.
  • The recipient sees only the job, not your watchlist or filters.
