JobBeacon supports the seven most common applicant tracking systems (ATS). Together they cover most of the companies you’d realistically want to watch. If a company uses one of these, JobBeacon can watch it. If they roll their own custom careers page, JobBeacon can’t (yet).

Coverage caveats

Most boards work the same way, but a few have quirks worth knowing.

Workday

Workday powers most large enterprises, and JobBeacon supports it — but with two caveats:
  • Multi-location jobs show “N Locations” in the listing. Workday’s listing API doesn’t include the actual location strings for jobs posted to multiple cities. JobBeacon shows “N Locations” in the table and lazy-loads the real list when you hover.
  • Filters and unspecified locations. Because Workday hides the per-location strings, location filters can’t match those jobs directly. If you want them included, turn on Include unspecified locations in the company’s filter settings.
  • Very large boards are capped. JobBeacon tracks the most recent 1,000 roles per Workday board. The company page shows “Monitoring the 1,000 most recent of N listings” when capped.

Eightfold

Same listing cap as Workday: the most recent 1,000 roles per board. Most companies don’t approach this.

Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, SmartRecruiters, BambooHR

No caps. JobBeacon pulls every active role on the board.

What JobBeacon does not watch

  • Custom in-house career pages. If a company’s careers page isn’t backed by one of the boards above, JobBeacon can’t extract structured job data from it. We don’t run a headless browser to scrape arbitrary HTML.
  • LinkedIn, Indeed, or other aggregators. JobBeacon goes to the source — the company itself.
  • Internal job boards (e.g., the ones gated behind a company login).
